    Mercedes-Benz Mobility AG (MBM) is a division of Mercedes-Benz Group AG and, with around , employees, specializes in financial and mobility services. The offering ranges from financing, leasing, vehicle subscriptions and rental, fleet management to digital services relating to charging and payment, insurance brokerage and innovative mobility services.

    This year, Mercedes-Benz Mobility will once again focus on the 5 strategic dimensions of MBM 5, one of which is Electrify our Future. On the way to "electric only", charging is a decisive factor. We want charging at Mercedes-Benz to become a special customer experience. In order to establish this holistic charging ecosystem as quickly as possible, we have set up a new Charging Unit at MBM, which is responsible for developing and supporting innovative customer solutions for charging in and outside the vehicle. The unit consists of three pillars: charging at home, charging in a business context with electric vehicle fleets and public charging.

    In public charging, we are taking a consistent step forward as a company and rolling out our own Mercedes-Benz Premium high-performance charging network.

    We work closely together across teams and departments - within the Charging Unit and with our colleagues in all functions such as Sales, Legal, Finance & Controlling, IT, Development and Marketing. In addition, the daily exchange with strong, experienced and internationally active external partners takes center stage.

    In our Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging Network team, we are looking for a team leader to support us in the development of Mercedes-Benz's own HPC network and, above all, in the planning, construction and operation of the HPC sites.

    In this role:

  • Lead a team of approx. employees in the target picture, have a modern understanding of leadership and live our People Principles
  • You will continue to build a high-performing team, set ambitious goals, motivate and advise your team and ensure a flow of information in a complex stakeholder structure
  • You are responsible for the overall planning, coordination and monitoring of the expansion of all charging parks in the EU, including schedule, budget and resource allocation
  • Supervise the technical implementation of the charging stations, including the selection of charging infrastructure, installation and initial commissioning (technical manager)
  • Coordinate the HPC construction projects on site, including cooperation with construction companies, electricians and other specialists
  • Monitor legal regulations, environmental requirements and safety standards, as well as tracking constantly changing regulations in the various countries and adapting operating practices accordingly
  • Ensure the strategic planning and implementation of the smooth operation of the charging stations. This includes monitoring charging processes, maintenance, troubleshooting and ensuring availability
  • Plan and monitor the regular maintenance of the charging stations to ensure optimal performance
  • Establish transparent reporting of product maturity and status across all phases (strategy, planning, construction and operation) and markets
  • Drive the further development of the charging network and the business unit through customer feedback and improvement of the customer experience
  • Establish the necessary customer interfaces for customer inquiries, complaints and technical support to ensure positive customer experiences
  • Coordinate and oversee customer support teams to assist with charging station usage, resolve issues and provide billing assistance
  • Work closely with the CFO MB HPC Europe to ensure sound financial planning and budgeting that supports the long-term goals of the company
  • Coordinate within the group (e.g. strategy, development, marketing, sales, external affairs, communication, architecture interfaces to the vehicle, etc.)
  • Creating and coordinating decision papers for internal approval processes (e.g. demand process,...) as well as for committee, management and board meetings

  • Do you have proven expertise in network design, (HPC) charging infrastructure, eMobility or charging services
  • Do you have an excellent command of German and English, further language skills are an advantage
  • Do you have a strong network in the charging industry or in comparable industries such as telecommunications or utilities, always with a focus on deployment or operations
  • Do you have several years of experience in project management and in dealing with partners, suppliers or cooperations
  • Do you have intercultural competence and are sensitive to other cultures and ways of working
  • You have experience in leading agile, cross-functional and international teams and groups
