    ODM Partners have been retained to support our client, an international Asset Manager in Frankfurt, in their search for a Senior Director. Our client is looking to diversify their infrastructure offering, creating a new vertical focused on Energy Transition, Digital Infrastructure or Social Infrastructure across Western Europe. As a Senior Director, you will have the opportunity to shape the strategy and direction of this new initiative, whilst developing and scaling a team.

    Role requirements

    • You must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in equity investment within the Infrastructure sector (Experience in a fund is required)
    • You will have a strong background of originating deals within Energy Transition, Digital Infrastructure or Social Infrastructure across Western Europe.
    • Experience focused on small-mid size core-plus/value-add investments.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop successful teams across a comprehensive business strategy.
    • The ability to create a collaborative and inclusive culture.
    • Entrepreneurial Mindset with demonstrated ability to work effectively within a dynamic, fast paced environment.
    • Stakeholder Management skills with the ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external parties.
    • Fluent in English (Other European languages are highly desirable).

    Role Responsibilities

    • Take ownership of the new strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company's overall objectives and ESG ambitions.
    • Lead the origination of investment opportunities across Western Europe, utilising your experience in either Energy Transition, Social Infrastructure or Digital Infrastructure.
    • Develop and lead a team of professionals, providing mentorship and guidance to foster a collaborative, inclusive culture.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including investors, developers, government agencies and industry partners.
    • Evaluate opportunities which will enable the team to achieve double core-plus to value-add returns including conducting due diligence and negotiating term sheets.
    • Ensure the seamless execution of transactions through strong collaboration with internal teams including legal, finance, risk management etc.
    • Keep on top of market trends enabling you to act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing advice on potential investment opportunities or value creation strategies.
