- Design and develop the R&D strategy for different assets within the business.
- Implement translational medicine plans for different therapeutic candidates
- Design and Implement clinical development plans
- Lead the prep of regulatory submission doccuments.
- Build relationships with stakeholders, senior management, KOLs
- MD, (Board Certification/Specialisation in Neurology prefered but not necessary)
- Strong scientific background in neuroscience and exposure and understanding of multiple disease areas and also drug development/discovery processes
- Proven experience leading Phase III clinical trials.
- At least 5 years of experience in industry from a pharmaceutical/biotech company.
- Experienced in leading groups and teams within industry or academic roles.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work hands on in a dynamic team.

ARTO have recently partnered with a Germany based Biotechnology company who are developing therapies within Rare Diseases within the Neurodegenerative space.
As their clinical assets move towards Phase III, we are now searching for a Senior Medical Director/Vice President Clinical Development to oversee clinical research and translational medicine and be a key member of the R&D team.
For this role, candidates can work remotely from Europe with ad-hoc travel included depending on business needs.
