- Develops and implements strategic and tactical sales plans to achieve sales volumes in the assigned region consistent with annual business goals.
- Sells directly to customers and prospects in the assigned region at volume levels consistent with annual business goals. In regions with extended sales channel, manages, motivates, and supports channel partners to achieve volume levels consistent with annual business goals for their assigned market areas.
- Gives company overview or technical/product presentations at various events, conferences and organizations. Gives effective, solutions-oriented sales presentations and product demonstrations as required to secure orders for TSI. Attends appropriate conferences, seminars and trade shows to promote TSI's interests.
- Travels 40 to 50% within the assigned region to meet with customers and prospects as required.
- Forecasts monthly and performs other administrative tasks and special projects as required.
- Provides market input to Product Marketing. Maintains and increases knowledge of TSI Particle Instruments products, customer applications and the latest technical advances within industry.

JOB SUMMARYThis is a sales position in the Research & Analytic (R&A) value stream which is responsible for our Particle Instrument products. The role involves both direct sales in Central and Eastern Germany as well as the active management of distributed sales channels in Southern Europe. The Sales Specialist will lead the business in this geography and drive activities to develop existing and new Channel Partners on an ongoing basis. The territory also includes a few larger industrial key accounts. The territory is currently managed by a Senior Sales Specialist who has been recently promoted to a management position. The successor for this large and successful sales territory will be a highly-qualified candidate. Expertise in particle measurement would be a great asset.
Under general supervision, the R&A Sales Specialist plans and implements sales strategies and tactics for the assigned region to achieve sales volumes consistent with business goals. The R&A Sales Specialist provides a high level of assistance and support to ensure customer satisfaction and continuing revenues.
