- 10+ years' experience in SAP FICO, hands-on configuration and user experience.
- You must have German localisation experience
- Experience from working with pre-studies and creating a package (high level design) to handover as a ground for others delivery (fulfillment of requirement).
- Finance & Controlling process knowledge
- S/4 HANA working knowledge is an advantage
- Experience with Functional testing during release, version, upgrades
- Open mindset and intuition to see new development possibility and solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Service oriented approach and excellent communication skills
- Experience in working in cross-functional and a challenging environment with complex requirements.
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken) is a prerequisite.
- Independently manage tasks within the FICO area; being responsible for needed delivery of system configuration and related documentation.
- Propose best practices and identify solutions for processes and concepts involved in the FICO end-to-end flow (across all related applications, such as SAP, Non-SAP, HR systems, etc.).
- To be responsible of the definition of blueprint for functional development specifications, both on high-level and detailed design.
- Support in roll-out of new releases - testing, evaluation and modification of local procedures
- To lead and coordinate demands and other project related activities.
- Collaborate and communicate with our global Finance Team, Auditing team, Controlling, Suppliers, Global-, Regional- and Local Stakeholders

Our Customer is a European software vendor, one of the largest and most renowned in their space. In Germany, they support various SAP end users (both ECC and S4) with implementations and AMS.
Due to an increase of volume with their German customers, they are now seeking two experienced SAP FICO contractors in order to ramp up their SAP FICO support and maintenance organization to be able to provide the employees with the best possible support in all aspects of finance & controlling.
Expectations of the role:
You will being the bridge between the Business and IT, by understanding and working with the full end to end process. Work together with Functional Specialists and Process- and Master Data Owners to perform process and system evaluations to improve user experience and business operations. To evaluate FICO process- and business needs and provide functional solutions / improvements as well as advice and support our support organization.
