    What you will be doing

    You will be working at theforefront of the energy sector alongside market specialists with deep industryknowledge where you will be able to deploy and then broaden your skill set andsector expertise.

    We advise theorganisations at the heart of this transformation, providing economic,commercial and strategic consulting to energy companies, financialinstitutions, governments and regulators. Examples of our work include companyand asset valuations for mergers and acquisitions, optimising portfolios fromfuel contracting to generation dispatch, developing hedging strategies forvertically integrated energy companies, and advising government on the costsand benefits of different future energy policy options.

    The idealcandidates will have experience in some of the following:

  • Deep understanding of the Nordic-Baltic power markets including market fundamentals, market design policy and regulation and commercial structures.
  • A passion for the energy sector, a curiosity to learn and a growth mindset.
  • Analytical skills applied to wholesale electricity market fundamentals, and market modelling.
  • Experience in commercial structures, assessing routes to market for power generation assets and designing business models in energy markets.
  • The ability to take ownership and deliver results in client-facing environments.
  • Willingness to work occasionally in different market contexts and themes, or support model development.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and a track record of effective teamwork.
  • The ability to manage projects day-to-day and oversee inputs/outputs from the modelling team.
  • Languages: English (essential) plus language skills relevant in Nordic-Baltic countries (additional languages are a plus)
