This role acts as an important bridge to input requirements and exchange knowledge with the global product management team providing input on topics including; product strategy / planning, feature offering, specifications, pricing, volume, positioning, competitor analysis, and face-lift definition and management.


Your Responsibilities

  • You will calculate each product line's take rate based on forecast for business case calculation
  • You will estimate pricing for each model and product lines to ensure product competitiveness
  • You will provide inputs and get alignment with Global PM team in China
  • You will provide timely input into the Smart's launch planning workstream
  • You will generate ideas and develop strategic and tactical product plans for model line(s)
  • You will analyse and interpret various data, research, segment trends, and industry reports
  • You will provide inputs on requirements, improvement based on current model lines, tracking equipment changes, project pricing, and product assumptions
  • You will deliver product value and benefits for marketing communication
  • You will support product training with product information and vehicles
  • You will document all product related specs coding to ensure smooth ordering and sales process.

What you bring along**- You bring 3+ years of overall product management experience

  • You bring 4+ years of automotive experience
  • Premium or EV brand experience is a plus
  • You bring automotive technical knowhow, preferably with electrical vehicles
  • You bring demonstrated success defining, launching and managing top tier products
  • You bring strong knowledge of the automotive industry, especially European car markets, electric vehicles, and overall market trends i.e autonomy, connectivity and sharing
  • You bring a 'customer first attitude' ability to represent and defend customer needs
  • You are numerate comfortable with numbers and generating compelling business cases
  • You are detail orientated strives for quality work and inputs at all times
  • You possess excellent communication and presentation skills in English (Mandarin is a plus)
  • You anticipate market developments and innovations and identify business opportunities
  • You bring a Bachelor / Master in engineering or comparable field
