We are operating daily with fleet monitoring and management, vessel traffic control systems and mobile navigation apps.

    We are now seeking a Software Testing Engineer to join our forward-looking team. The ideal candidate would be based in Helsinki, Finland, Belgrade, Serbia, or Hamburg, Germany.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Writing test documentation (test cases for manual and automated testing, checklists), making defects in ClickUp
  • Conducting manual functional, integration, regression and smoke testing of web applications
  • Analysis of requirements and development of test scenarios
  • Recording test results and reporting
  • Promoting quality within the organisation
  • Drawing up a balanced and sufficient set of regression and smoke tests
  • Carrying out the validation of smart contracts and checking the deployment to the manner
  • Participation in the decomposition and evaluation of technical problems in terms of testing
  • Testing frontend and backend
  • Communication with developers and managers

    • Knowledge and skills we are looking for:

  • Fluent in spoken and written English with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Focused on the team's tasks, experienced in testing web applications
  • Bring a creative thinking approach when it comes to complex problem-solving situations
  • Knowledge and experience in developing test documentation: bug reports, test cases, checklists and test plans
  • Knowledge of REST API, understanding of web service technologies
  • Basic knowledge of Git
  • Experience in testing web applications and using test management tools for 1 year
  • Basic layout skills (HTML, CSS, Dev Tools)
  • Experience with ClickUp, Testmo, Blockscanner and Docker
  • Experience in testing Dapp applications, familiarity with the blockchain
  • Experience with Gitlab as a CI/CD
  • Understanding the interaction with databases
  • Experience in mobile app testing, API (Swagger, Postman) testing and cross-browser testing
