- Rate Negotiation: Negotiate competitive rates with carriers based on market conditions, freight volume, and other relevant factors to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure carrier compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards, and mitigate risks associated with carrier operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the carrier network, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze transportation data to identify trends, evaluate carrier performance, and generate reports for management review.
