- You will independently support business units, expert departments and management in all legal issues, with a focus on contract law, construction law and digitalization/software/IP law.
- Independently propose practical solutions to minimize legal risks and initiate improvements.
- Conduct training for employees.
- Accompany and coordinate disputes and court proceedings in cooperation with external lawyers.
- Work closely with the European and global legal team and other functions of a worldwide Matrix organization on strategic initiatives, transformation processes and cross-regional issues.
- Qualified German lawyer (1st and 2nd state examinations); additional foreign studies (eg LL.M.) are an advantage
- Several years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in an international industrial company and ideally, in an international commercial law firm
- Legal generalist with business accumen and a strong understanding of project business, international Matrix structures, process and business workflows of an international company
- Strong knowledge of contract, IP and software law
- Ability, interest and willingness to act as a business partner to quickly and efficiently find pragmatic, business-oriented solutions and to assume responsibility for the success of the company - even outside traditional legal areas
- Excellent communication skills and cooperative working style
- Fluency in English; additional language skills very advantageous
- Experience in commercial contract and claim management as well as legal tech solutions advantageous
