    Senior Regulatory Counsel/MLRO Germany Our dynamic EMEA Regulatory team is looking for an experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager with experience in the payments and/or banking industry to support Adyen's business operations in Germany.

    In this role, you will be the main point of contact responsible for managing Adyen's internal and external regulatory compliance obligations in Germany and to do that, you must have strong analytical and communication skills to provide pragmatic and strategic advice to both internal and external stakeholders on regulatory matters.

    The successful candidate will be acting as the designated Money Laundering Reporting Officer for Germany, serving as the point of contact for regulators and authorities.

    What you'll doLead regulatory engagements and manage relationships with regulators and supervisors in Germany to achieve Adyen's strategic opportunities;Maintain and continuously improve the local Regulatory Compliance Frameworks to ensure that all regulatory requirements under German AML/CFT & Sanctions Laws and corresponding regulations are embedded in local Policies and Procedures;Anticipate on local regulatory obligations and risks, and ensure these are addressed in a practical and scalable way;Represent theRegulatory Compliance Function on a variety of workstreams and products to establish regulatory strategies that align with global objectives and ensure controlled and compliant growth.

    Who you areYou have at least 5 years of experience in a regulatory and/or compliance function within the payments-, financial services- or fintech industry;Your knowledge of the German AML/CFT regulatory landscape best practices is well established;You have strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as experience in managing the relationship with German regulators or supervisors and internal stakeholders;Your strong sense of initiative, independence and ability to take ownership will add value to a fast-growing business;You are an analytical thinker who can ideate creative solutions for complex regulatory challenges which enable business opportunities while staying in control;You are fluent in English and GermanYou are willing to travel to Amsterdam as the EMEA Regulatory Team is based thereReady to meet us?If you are excited about this role, apply by clicking the link below.
