YOUR TEAM:


You will work in the department "Processes and Compliance" which is part of a dynamic, fast-growing team in the chief technology area.

We develop innovative processes, methods and tools to enable CARIAD developing software and hardware according to the newest systems engineering technologies.

State of the art processes are key to ensure software and hardware innovations on wheels for the entire Volkswagen Group.

These processes will enable efficient product development of software and hardware that inspires our customers with new digital skills and features every day, from more intelligent cockpits, to highly automated driving, new energy and charging solutions, as well as innovative mobility solutions and services.

Imagine a state-of-the-art solution of process methods and tools for our developers that guarantees the compliance with standards and regulations like Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262,In order to make this vision come true, we are looking for experienced team members from the area of automotive software development to ensure fulfillment of mandatory PMT requirements.


WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Analyze and choose the relevant regulations and standards to be fulfilled by our PMT solution
  • Derive understandable, consistent and suitable requirements from the set of regulations
  • Guide and teach the PMT engineers to understand the requirements and achieve a knowledge transfer
  • Contribute and improve the PMT development process by implementing specific methods to enhance our PMT quality
  • Verify the fulfillment of the committed requirements and continuously create transparency by selecting suitable KPIs
  • Cooperate with the departments of transformation, cultural change management, communication and training (competence and qualification planning)

WHO YOU ARE:


  • Completed studies in systems engineering, computer science, engineering or software development
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in the fields of automotive/ aerospace electronics or software development
  • Indepth knowledge and understanding of applied automotive standards and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to create an impact with stakeholders at various levels, departments and regions in a matrix organization
  • Strong experience in Systems Engineering, Automotive SPICE and agile methods like SAFe
  • Fluent English language skills (oral and written), German language skills are a plus
