    About NIO

    NIO now offers six high-performance smart electric vehicles in Europe: the ES8 SUV, the all-around EL6 and EL7 SUVs, the flagship ET7 smart electric sedan, and the new ET5 and ET5 Touring electric midsize sedans. By the end of December 2023, NIO has delivered a total of more than 450,000 vehicles worldwide.

    In addition, NIO is the only car manufacturer worldwide to offer an innovative Battery-as-a-Service concept combined with battery swapping technology. This approach provides our customers with a unique charging experience with "recharge times" of less than 5 minutes.

    For our Power Team in Berlin we are looking for an

    Intern/Working Student, Power Charging & Pricing (m/f/x)

    You will be part of our European Power Performance team and contributing to shape NIO's charging and energy business.

    Responsibilities

    You will work on and support strategic and operational decisions by

    • Identify and assess new business models based on NIO battery swapping and battery business
    • Contribute to NIO Pricing Strategy for NIO Swapping and Charging by benchmarking charging prices in Europe and evaluating electricity cost
    • Conduct user analyses on charging and swapping to reveal users' preferences and to optimize NIO user experience
    • Collect feedback from NIO country organisations and consolidate user requirements on B2C and B2B clients to optimize NIO products and services
    • Support and execute regular operational business tasks
    • Support external partner management for our collaborations in the field of Charging & Energy

    Qualifications

    • Master student or Bachelor student (second year and above) in Business, Engineering (e.g. Industrial Engineering), Energy Management or related programme with good track record
    • Knowledge and previous experience within E-Mobility and/or Energy sector is preferred (e.g. dedicated classes at university or previous internship)
    • Experience/ knowledge of business modelling and business case calculations
    • Ability to aggregate, condense and prepare information for senior management
    • Open-mindedness, creative thinking, strong communication skills
    • Fluent in English; German language skill is a plus
    • Working hours: 40h per week for intern or 20h per week for working student
