    Mission: Supports the business in achieving its objectives and provides support and solutions for the implementation of HR functions in their group of hotels/OC. Aligns the management of HR (Hotel Services) with the needs of the business (Hotel Operations).

    The resposabilities of the role are:

  • Assists Hotel/Operations Center Managers in team management (performance management, development conversations, performance feedback, career plans, etc.)
  • Attends and provides feedback to colleagues from other areas about employees from other OCs or former team members.
  • Supports the implementation of HR functions in work centres, training HR teams and providing solutions to hotels in people management with a comprehensive vision of the HR function and in cooperation with the HRHS specialist areas.
  • Acts as the HR point of contact for Hotel Services team members relocated to their country.
  • Monitors KPI data the quality of data in their area of responsibility, supporting business leaders in how to apply HR Analytics. Translate that information in specific actions
  • Provides support on request from the specialist team for visits to key universities and builds relationships with local universities which are key for the MHI brand image in the destination/country
  • Identifies new local schools, attends university-related events and reports to the specialist area for monitoring, metrics and macro decision making.
  • Attends and/or represents the destination at the relevant job fairs in their destination.
  • Together with Talent Acquisition, organises Open Days and similar actions to attract talent
  • Receives training and information on the Social Media communication strategy from Employer Branding in order to help create content and also gathers content from hotels to publish in Social Media according to company guidelines.
  • Attends the regular meetings planned by the Employer Branding area regarding the implementation in hotels under their responsibility of the Employer Branding action plan for each period, as well as proposing key dates and actions in the area to adapt the strategy
  • Identifies operational training needs and plans with the OC/hotels the training schedule to be carried out by the OC/hotels themselves.
  • Ensures correct communication and participation in all training activities by the groups for which they have been designed, monitoring their participation and completion
  • Supports the internal talent mapping process and advises the specialist area and MD regarding the potential/performance of different people in their area of responsibility.
  • Identifies development needs in critical personnel groups and priorities for the region.
  • Ensures the implementation of the current corporate identity model in their area of responsibility following the guidelines of the Culture area.
  • Validates and analyses the staffing guide for the new hotel based on the organisational model defined for the type of hotel and destination
  • Defines the Pre-opening Budget and personnel incorporation schedule for each hotel project (or prior to their signature if requested).
  • Coordinates the global HR budget and personnel cost guidelines in their area of responsibility, ensuring it is known by all business units, and monitors deviations from budget and forecasts.
  • Familiar with local labour legislation and collective agreements in their province/country, as applicable.
  • Up to date with the union situation in hotels and any important extraordinary issues. Participates in meetings with international unions if requested together with Labour Relations, participating in the investigation and resolution of union complaints that come from different countries.
  • Assists Labour Relations in procedures in which the company is involved to ensure company criteria are followed in negotiation processes and/or court hearings, as well as in the analysis and strategy for key cases.
  • ¿ What are we looking for ?

  • Degree in Psychology, Labour Relations, Law or similar, with a specialty in HR.
  • High level of english and german. Spanish is a plus.
  • Knowledge of both the Soft & Hard areas of HR (recruitment and selection, development and training, labour relations, work environment, employer & personal branding).
  • Experience of 5 years in the position or similar.
