Objective of the job:
Production management deals with decision-making related to production processes so that the resulting goods is produced according to specification, in the amount and by the schedule demanded and at minimum cost. Emphasizing the pursuit of continuous improvement in all aspects of the production process, and regularly monitoring performance metrics to drive ongoing enhancements in productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
· Overseeing manufacturing and production processes.
· Creating and execute daily, weekly, monthly and annual production schedules.
· Procuring factory production equipment and taking responsibility for its maintenance.
· Striving to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines.
· Maintaining hygienic conditions for both employees and the factory itself.
· Implementing all the company's procedures and policies.
· Communicating any problems or obstacles to senior management.
· Monitoring productivity rates, standards and quality control.
· Training and coaching Factory Operators.
· Implementing safety, health, environment and quality requirements
· Budget responsibility for production management department.
· Organize ERP (e.g. SAP) for processing production planning related to product made, e.g. BOM, Production routers, etc.
· Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
· Overseeing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure that all systems, equipment, and infrastructure are in working order.
· Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards was a fundamental duty.
· Liaising with external vendors and contractors for facility-related services.
· Communicate with personnel at all levels, internally and externally to the company, in relation to operations matters.
Requirements:
· Strong project management and organizational skills.
· Medical device industry-related experiences.
· Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and operations management best practices
· Knowledge of resource requirements planning and margins.
· Excellent understanding of lean manufacturing.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel to support work-in-progress and production schedules.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) systems.
· Ability to operate all manufacturing or production line equipment.
