    Unser Mandant ist ein schnellwachsendes Unternehmen in der Finanz- und Versicherungsbranche und hat sich in den letzten Jahren zu einem branchenführenden Anbieter für Finanz- und Versicherungsprodukte entwickelt. Dabei setzen sie auf eine einzigartige Technologieplattform, die es ihnen ermöglicht, maßgeschneiderte und innovative Produkte zuverlässig bereitzustellen.

    Diese innovativen Produkte werden erfolgreich von über 50 Partnern unseres Mandanten vertrieben. Aufgrund des kontinuierlichen Wachstums des Unternehmens sind wir auf der Suche nach einem erfahrenen "Director Accounting" (m/f/d).

    Aufgaben

    • Leitung des Bereichs Finanzen, Koordination von Projekten
    • Schnittstellen zu verschiedenen Fachbereichen (insbesondere

      Controlling, Business
    • Intelligence, IT-Development, Risikomanagement,

      Versicherungsmathematik etc.).
    • Kompetente*r Ansprechpartner*in für Vorstand, Führungskräfte,
    • Wirtschaftsprüfer und Aufsichtsbehörden.
    • Verantwortung für die Entwicklung des Versicherungskernsystems

      in bilanziellen Belangen, konzeptionelle Zusammenarbeit mit dem

      Development Team
    • Konzeption, Entwicklung und Pflege von

      Rechnungslegungsmethoden und -prozessen, insbesondere für die

      relevanten versicherungstechnischen Geschäftsvorfälle.
    • Verantwortung der Erstellung von Monats- und Jahresabschlüssen

      (HGB) und Verbuchung des versicherungstechnischen Ergebnisses

      und Bilanzpositionen.
    • Verantowrtung für alle darüber hinaus nötigen internen wie

      externen Finanz-Reportings
    • Idealerweise Kenntnisse zum Solvency II-Reporting sowie etwaige

      zukünftige Rechnungslegungsstandard (bspw. IFRS).
    • Begleitung der Reservierung der IBNR in Zusammenarbeit mit dem

      Aktuariat.
    • Ansprechpartner für die Rückversicherer, insbesondere für

      diesbezügliche Abrechnungen.
    • Leitung der internationalen Expansion aus Sicht von Finance
    • Steuerliche Fragestellungen, gerne mit Koordination von externer

      Hilfe.
    • Unterstützung anderer Abteilungen und Nachwuchskräfte mit dem

      notwendigen Accounting- & Versicherungswissen

    Qualifikation

    • Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Finanzabteilung einer

      Versicherungsgesellschaft oder in der Prüfung von

      Versicherungsunternehmen und mindestens zwei Jahre

      Führungserfahrung in leitender Funktion.
    • Kompetenzen im operativen Tagesgeschäft
    • Hochschulabschluss in BWL, Wirtschaftsmathematik oder verwandten

      Disziplinen mit Schwerpunkten in Bereichen wie Finanzen,

      Rechnungswesen und Versicherungen oder vergleichbare Erfahrungen,

      z. B. auf Basis eines Zertifikats in Bilanzbuchhaltung
    • Sicher im Umgang mit ERP und MS Office, insbesondere in Excel und

      PowerPoint. Darüber hinaus sind Kenntnisse in DüVA und/oder Solvara

      wünschenswert.
    • Hohe Zahlenaffinität, analytische Fähigkeiten und ein selbstbewusstes

      Auftreten.
