    One of our clients a provider for photovoltaic power plants and equipment is looking for a new member for their project delivery team.

    The job requires both a mix of project management and consulting for their customers. You will be part of an international team spanning across the globe from China to the USA to their home base in Germany. You will be representing the customers during the construction phase of their PV plants in Germany and the rest of your Europe.

    Position

    • Title: Senior Project Manager
    • Reporting to: Team Leader Project Delivery

    Tasks

    Project management of customer contracts including scheduling, logistics, team leading, customer communication, reporting and billing

    • Participate in hand-over meetings with the sales team to ensure that the customer objectives and requirements for the project are fully understood
    • Coordination of required resources for the project together with the relevant technical services team leader and conduct kick-off meeting
    • Prepare and manage multiple complex work packages that may include laboratory testing, contract review, factory inspections, power plant inspections, performance analysis as well as research & development
    • Ensure that the customer deadlines are met on time for the contract deliverables
    • Communicate and meet in-person as required with the customer to discuss the project details, deliverables and follow-up sales activities
    • Oversee the customer's contractors during the design and construction phases of PV plants, including periodic inspection site visits
    • Manage the invoicing process with the customer for all required payments together with the administrative department

    Requirements

    • Minimum five years of experience in executing and managing photovoltaic projects
    • Engineering degree, preferably in electrical
    • Consulting experience for customers of both financial and technical backgrounds
    • Broad knowledge of photovoltaic solar energy
    • Knowledge of and experience with the concepts of project management
    • Experience managing energy infrastructure projects in the construction phase
    • Ability to multi-task in order to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Willingness to travel and work internationally
    • Ability to work according to industry norms and standards to ensure high level of quality
    • Excellent technical writing skills
    • Fluency in German and English both speaking and written; additional languages are beneficial
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of team is a must

    Salary: 85,000-95,000 EUR gross per year
