- Standardization of production processes, equipment used and internal process flows.
- Analyzing the current situation and identifying necessary changes in order to set up the sites efficiently for the future while meeting all legal standards.
- Perform technical due diligence assessments for potential projects associated to hygiene chemical production, storage, and distribution.
- Lead management of Change (MOC) techniques to ensure that potential plant/process changes receive appropriate review and are managed through to final handover to site operations teams
- Design / optimize plant/equipment pre-start-up checks to ensure a safe, incident-free restart.
- Develop, standardize and implement safety procedures with regard to working with hazardous materials based on best practice.
- Monitoring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Design, plan and implement the layout of manufacturing equipment to optimize production while optimizing associated costs.
- Observing, testing, and monitoring production processes and equipment to ensure safety, quality and efficiency targets are met.
- Lead HAZOP studies / risk assessments.
- Lead Root-Cause-Analysis (RCA) activities into plant performance deviations.
- Lead and support teams throughout the entire process from diagnosis through to resolution.
- Developing operating procedures and create/execute operator trainings.
- This position requires a deep background in chemical industry
- 5+ Years experience in Chemical production or blending environment
- Technical knowledge and experience of processes which handle hazardous materials (corrosive, flammable)
