- Develop a long-term commitment to handling recurring scenarios, requiring thorough understanding of the assets and their purpose.
- Acquire expertise in recording according to IFRS, HGB, and Tax regulations, and apply this knowledge to address emerging questions.
- Focus on the booking, activation, and depreciation of our IFCO crates, plus recurring reporting on those towards internal and external stakeholder.
- Collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial data recording and booking.
- Maintain and update fixed asset records in SAP or a similar ERP system, with a particular emphasis on asset management.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements related to asset accounting and valuation.
- Improve process documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- First years' experience in financial accounting, preferably in asset management.
- Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, HGB) and tax regulations for the fixed assets.
- Proficiency in SAP, particularly in asset management, is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and explain complex issues.
- Advanced knowledge of MS office tools (MS Outlook and Excel).
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated, proactive work approach, and willingness to continuously develop.
- Language skills: Fluent in English and German.
