    Pension Manager (f/m/d) - Germany / M&A

    About the Role

    Location Germany Bayern Munich Remote vs. Office Hybrid (Remote/Office) Company Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG Organization SE CFO Business Unit Treasury & Corporate Finance Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional A Snapshot of Your Day You will be part of the Strategy, Projects and Global Risk Management (SPR) team, responsible for German and global pension risk management, optimizing our pension risk profile on the liability side ( financial/strategic plan design projects together with our HR colleagues) as well as on the asset side ( portfolio optimization across different asset classes).You will have a special focus on the German pension plans, take over ad-hoc projects and handle pension finance related matters in M&A transactions.Being part of a global and diverse pension team, you will constantly gain valuable insights into international financial pension management and its interfaces - in close collaboration with other functions like AC, HR, Tax, IR, M&A and regions. How You'll Make an Impact
  • Support the coordination of all local external service providers ( asset managers, investment consultants, auditors, actuaries, custodian)
  • Implement & supervise the funding of the trusts
  • Ensure monthly accurate delivery of assets to Group reporting, report the asset performance and observe the investment strategy
  • Perform monthly/quarterly/annual accounting and controlling/consolidation processes, including delivery for internal & external reporting as well as forecasting & budgeting: IFRS and HGB
  • Support assessing financial and risk impacts of potential changes to global pension plans, service provider and funding requirements and coordinate local de-risking & optimization projects with the Regional Pension Management
  • Develop arguments and prepare approvals and decision proposals as well as presentations for top management and pro-actively handle internal interfaces/partners like Accounting & Controlling, Legal, Human Resources und Tax, as well as trustee
  • Support Pension M&A during international transactions (Due Diligence, negotiations, assisting financial impacts) and perform post-closing activities, integration of new pension plans or implementation of pension transfer concepts
  • Look for new developments in digitization and implement new tools to improve quality and make work easier
    • What You Bring
  • University degree in (economic) mathematics, business administration/economics with a specialization in finance or equivalent; ideally an actuarial education
  • Several years of experience in the finance area ( investment, banking, consultancy, audit, financial controlling), ideally in a global pension environment (corporate or advisory)
  • Proficiency in German and English in order to exchange ideas with colleagues and service providers nationally and internationally
  • Initiative, pro-active and careful working style
  • Strong communication and analytical skills and ideally experience in cross-departmental collaboration
