- In line with business goals and objectives, develop and executive a scientific strategy and vision for the organisation with the senior leadership team
- Lead a growing team to ensure objectives are met in a timely manner and to a high standard
- Oversee a wide range of projects across a variety of scientific disciplines
- Represent the organisation at industry events, investor and stakeholder meetings, and scientific conferences
- Manage intellectual property portfolios, including trademarks and patents
- Play a critical influencing role with senior stakeholders within the industry
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in a relevant field such as biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology or a related discipline

- Knowledgeable about regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the pharma/biotech industry
- Proven ability to lead scientific teams while overseeing complex projects
