- Drive strategic projects to enable further global roll-out of AI at Infineon Backend
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable strategies for the AI roll-out program
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative data-driven solutions for complex business situations in the context of the global AI roll-out program
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and engineering, with a focus on their application in the global AI roll-out program
- A university degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience in data science or data engineering (ideally in the semiconductor industry), with reliable, documented results of delivering impactful projects
- Experience in developing methods or structures to integrate AI into an organization, particularly in a production environment
- Competency in the field of data governance, data infrastructure and/or use case scaling, particularly in a production environment
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms are of benefit
- The ability to communicate in English with business fluency, German language skills are a plus

Infineon designs, develops, manufactures, and markets a broad range of semiconductors and semiconductor-based solutions, focusing on key markets in the automotive, industrial, and consumer sectors. Its products range from standard components to special components for digital, analog, and mixed-signal applications to customer-specific solutions together with the appropriate software.
The backend segments enable the in-time ramp-up of new products and the efficient production of existing portfolio products. Backend is responsible for the value add from wafer singulation to final testing and shipping of goods to the customers. This includes all needed tasks such as pre-assembly, assembly, singulation, testing and the related functions of process-engineering, planning, quality-management, operations, material management, innovation on efficiency and productivity.
