    About the role

    MTG is a fast-growing international mobile gaming group with a diversified portfolio of popular games and franchises that attract players across the world.     MTG is now looking for a Group Head of Creative Production to manage the planning and execution of all production stages of MTG's Creative Services for the portfolio companies. This role is based in Hamburg, Germany, although remote candidates based near a major European airport who are willing to travel will also be considered.

    What you'll do:

    • Ensure that budgeting, specifications, and production are completed in time and quality.
    • Engage and organize resources required for each production from our centralized team of artists.
    • Coordinate MTG's portfolio companies' marketing creative needs and ensure accurate and adequate delivery of assets.
    • Align with all marketing and creative services stakeholders about request details and keep all stakeholders informed about the progress.
    • Prioritize work and resources across engagements, based on short- and long-term needs, and develop schedules by collaborating with production artists and stakeholders.
    • Supervise a cross-functional and global team of graphic designers, motion designers, and project managers in the strategic development of messaging and deliverables.
    • Review and approve marketing creatives and game art developed by the production team, ensuring that deliverables address marketing goals and challenges effectively.
    • Create and communicate marketing insights to the production team to help develop marketing plans, analyse results, and identify new opportunities.
    • Foster an ongoing knowledge exchange about creative and marketing performance between MTG's gaming studios and the creative production team.
    • Manage team leads in their day-to-day performance deliverables.

    Your Profile:

    • Approximately 10 years' experience in graphic design, digital art, or a related field, ideally within mobile marketing for the gaming or entertainment industry.
    • Proven ability to create marketing/advertising campaigns — from developing the vision and messaging to overseeing production on time and within budget.
    • At least 5 years' prior experience managing people, ideally within an international matrix environment.
    • Advanced negotiation skills for negotiating the production process, with the ability to balance firmness with flexibility to ensure the best possible outcomes while maintaining positive relationships.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport, trust, and understanding with diverse stakeholders, suppliers, clients, and internal teams.
    • Strong communication and relationship skills to collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure design needs are met.
    • Problem-solving abilities for identifying issues during negotiations and creatively developing solutions that satisfy all parties.
    • A passion for storytelling and an eagerness to embrace innovative tools and workflows, such as MidJourney and other AI tools.
    • Flexibility to work across time zones as needed and travel occasionally.
    • Ability to communicate and collaborate across cultures.
    • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
