Client Insights
Our client is a global market leader in high-quality, pioneering packaging for industrial purposes. Their range of services includes a diverse product portfolio, including plastic packaging, industrial drums, intermediate bulk containers (IBC) in addition the return of used packaging for reconditioning. They offer a complete service that is geared towards sustainability from production to reuse, and supply well-known customers from the chemical, petrochemical, agricultural, pharmaceutical and food industries.
Position Insights & Objectives
Support 2 locations in Northern Italy, provide remote support for France and other European/International plants;
Travel to remote sites and support local issues;
Create and provide user documentation and training;
Acceptance of Service Tickets from our Ticketing System and walk-in customers;
Provide technical support over the phone;
Support the Network and Infrastructure team onsite;
Work on 1st and 2nd level support tickets locally and via remote connection;
Solve issues and manage requests using different tools;
Manage the local assets and IT inventory;
Support on-going IT projects and liaising with IT and local teams as required.
Preferred Professional Experience
Degree in computer science or engineering.
At least three years' experience in customer support. Experience working in a similar role as either IT support or on a service desk/help desk is essential.
Detailed knowledge in the areas Windows ClientOS (10 and 11), Mobile Devices (iPhone, Android), Client Hardware (Notebooks, Workstations and PCs);
Good in supporting of End-Users;
Fluent English and Italian language skills, verbal and written are essential.
ITIL-Knowledge, certification is a nice to have.

Analytic mindset and good communication skills and conceptual thoughts in the diagnosis of problems and in providing innovative and practical solutions;
Service-based work methods;
Demonstrated initiative, flexibility and the ability to work under pressure;
Education, Compensation, & Location
Degree in computer science/engineering, or an associated degree is preferred.
This role is based in Bruhl, Germany and involves travel to sites in Italy as required
