    The CEUS Competence and Service Center is the Business Intelligence Competence Center for higher education in Bavaria. It designs, implements, operates and further develops the data warehouse systems for the Bavarian state universities, the universities of applied sciences and the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts. The range of tasks also includes conducting training courses and providing technical support to decision-makers at the universities in the creation of individual data analyses.
    To expand our team, we are looking for a person to work on the further development of data analyses and the underlying data structures for data-driven analyses in the "Student Life Cycle" area and to provide technical support to users at universities.

    Your area of responsibility and application

    • Analysis of technical requirements and evaluation of possible solution variants in close coordination with the users and the team
    • Implementation of business intelligence solutions using the MicroStrategy product range
    • Further development of database structures and ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services
    • Analysis, monitoring and improvement of data quality
    • Professional and technical contact person for users at the universities

    Your profile

    • Completed university degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in the field of (business) computer science (part-time Master's students are also welcome) or completed training in the field of IT (application development) or technical assistance for computer science
    • Experience with a business intelligence suite (ideally MicroStrategy)
    • Basic knowledge of relational database systems (SQL)
    • Knowledge of agile methods
    • Interest in university management topics
    • Very good written and spoken German, at least level C2
    • Strong teamwork and communication skills, independent and solution-oriented way of working, high level of initiative and willingness to undergo further training
