The Role Responsibilities

Drive Digital Commercialisation

  • Partnering with CCIB Frontline (Relationship Managers and Sales) drive digital revenue and volumes and innovative digital and data opportunities with Clients managed from CCIB Germany and France.
  • Match evolving client digital business models to digital advisory and solutions employing our digital channels as vehicles for our banking products across all CCIB business lines (Trade, Cash & FM)
  • Execute and track against the identified target client list from Account Planning to implement and complete digital agendas.
  • Lead the digital & data efforts to execute SCB's strategic growth plan with clients managed from Germany and France in tandem with SCB's strategic efforts to realize over 50% of revenues with clients from new sources in the coming years.
  • Directly engage with Clients in collaboration with CCIB Frontline partners as a trusted advisor for Digital Channels, Digital business models, new and emerging technology, and data solutions and products.
  • Support the Regional Head of EA in driving the DCDA strategy through the region.
  • Act as the ontheground representative for support to our regional deployment team as new tools and capabilities that are developed globally in CCIB Proprietary channels and strategic third party partner channels are made available to clients in the region. Actively drive commercialisation of these channels through adoption together with Frontline partners. Regularly proactively engage with Germany Country management on new roll out agenda to ensure that all senior representatives from product to risk and sale are aware of planned agenda and have opportunity to comment, thereby preventing any interruption to planned implementation.
  • Connect and collect 'voice of the client' feedback on CCIB channels and data solutions from Clients and frontline Sales and RM in Germany and France. The Aggregated view of EA clients to be communicated with our global product development partners as CCIB seeks to optimise its solutions for clients.
  • Form a network and actively engage with other DCDA Commercialisation colleagues in EA and Globally, recognising that that many of our EA clients have substantial global networks and our digital solutions must be globally supported to maximise service to our clients and opportunity for CCIB Digital revenues.
  • Proactively stay current with emerging technologies and trends in client business models to ensure that digital advisory remains leading edge and relevant.
  • Rapidly evolve understanding of CCIB capabilities from a banking and technology perspective to inform the advice and service provided to Frontline and Clients.
  • Form a network with DCDA Product Owners, Technology partners and other key development and support partners regionally and globally.

Support and Act as site contact for DCDA Channels matters and Regulatory Input

  • As the DCDA lead for Germany, act as a primary point of escalation for DCDA owned Channels and Data issues impacting clients in Germany

This will involve:

  • Liaising with the DCDA Head of Risk for EA & AME to collect factual inputs on observed issues and ensure these are communicated to development build and issue resolution partners in the appropriate department in the bank.
  • Ensuring the Regional Head is informed of all issues in a timely manner and engaged as needed.
  • Communication back to Frontline in Germany and local management on issue, RCAs and solutions where relevant.
  • Also, communicating to Frontline and local management in Germany where expected service interruption (eg due to platform maintenance) and identification where this may have a regulatory impact together with the DCDA Head of Risk for EA & AME.
  • Together with the Regional Head DCDA, seek to ensure that the DCDA agenda is aligned to local country management agenda, particularly when it comes to Regulatory expectations.
  • Proactively engage together with the DCDA Head of Risk for EA & AME to identify upcoming Regulatory changes and expectations and ensure that these are communicated back to Global DCDA teams.

Support and drive Germany AG Strategic Agenda

  • Act as a trusted partner with Germany frontline and local management as the bank seeks to optimise the Germany AG revenue opportunities.
  • Support driving the Digital Agenda through education. Work with EA & Global DCDA to deliver thought leadership and upskilling knowledge transfer to create a culture of digital fluency, collaboration, and integration of core CCIB product and sales activities with Digital Activities
