In our"Safety & Environment" department, we are looking for you to help shape our current and future projects:
Become our new
" Safety & Reliability engineer
" (d/M/F) for Airbus Helicopters Germany in Donauwörth
What can you expect from us?
Safety & Reliability are key contributors to the final customer satisfaction and important drivers of design and architecture systems choices.
As a Safety & Reliability engineer for AH projects, you will be in charge of managing safety performance for the basic helicopter evolutions.
It is therefore key for Airbus Helicopters to continuously add new functions, new systems and improve maturity and availability of this aircraft.
You will be supporting design and architecture modification choices, and providing operational in flight recommendations when required to enable the aircraft remain for customers a top reference.
Your main tasks & accountabilities:
- Perform helicopter safety analysis at all helicopter and system level
- Check design characteristics to reach safety performance
- Support the systems installation inside the aircraft to reduce risks of cascading failure, fire or risks in case of collision with birds
- Drive design and architectures of new development to secure future programs success
- Define, if needed, recommendation to modify the flight manual for operational safety
- Challenge devices suppliers to ensure a design fulfilling safety / reliability requirement
- Demonstrate to official services (OCCAR, NAHEMA, EASA,...) that objectives of the regulation are met in order to contribute to the approval of the modification
- Support airworthiness and project team in the design choice and certification strategy
- Define technical domain activities and contributions
- Coordinate technically various internal or external stakeholders (colleagues, subcontractors, suppliers)
Required skills:
- System design or architecture knowledge
- And/or Experience in Safety & Reliability
- And/or Experiences in aeronautics, helicopters
- University degree (master / diploma) in aerospace engineering or equivalent
- Analytical and Synthetic skills
- Open mindedness
- High interpersonal skills
- Structured orientation / working style
- Willingness to discover technical aspects and to grow
- Language : You are fluent in English, German is preferable
