    Responsibilities:

    • Manage major IT projects and programmes, focusing on IT infrastructure/workplace in complex contexts and strategic initiatives with cross-departmental impact.
    • Variety of duties including (but not limited to) central infrastructure release updates, workplace rollouts and new work for all end users, tenders/transitions with the primary IT service providers, and IT compliance.
    • Represent your major projects in board and department management committees, making decisions as needed. You will communicate it credibly without being frustrated by conflicting or contradictory decisions or bad changes in general conditions.
    • You anticipate board (board of directors, administrative board, and committee) issues, prepare responses, and coordinate with project stakeholders. You create and evaluate project scenarios and take preventative steps if needed.
    • You lead a technical project team with sub-project managers and perhaps a project management office.
    • You organise and control their roles in sub-project structures and foster teamwork.
    • You will negotiate lengthy contracts and terms from (important) vendors and actively manage their project services if needed.
    • Contribute to project governance, management methodology, and best practices.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in business, computer science, engineering, or business administration
    • Minimum 10 years of project management experience with budgets
    • In-depth IT experience in regulated environments, preferably in a wholesale bank with complex processes
    • Experience in contract negotiation and management (effort-based, work contracts, outsourcing)
    • Reliable in recording complex issues and determining necessary actions
    • High accountability, initiative, and willingness to collaborate with colleagues
    • Openness to new experiences and motivation to grow your environment
