- Degree in Computer Science/ Manufacturing/ Metallurgy/ Industrial Engineering/ Physics or related fields;
- 3+ years of experience as MES or Engineering Consultant;
- Practical knowledge in programming (Java) and database applications (PL/SQL);
- Strong analytical skills translating customer needs into operational requirements;
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with executives, managers, and experts;
- Valid work permit;
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
- Experience in MES Integration with ERP and L2 Systems;
- Knowledge or experience with Planning and Scheduling (APS Systems);
- Knowledge or experience in the metals industry;
- Understanding of the various software development lifecycles e.g. Agile, Waterfall;
