    The Commercial Inventory team, guided by their expertise, formulates robust commercial plans aimed at elevating inventory management strategies. Their primary focus revolves around optimising commercial spaces for our partners sponsoring our events. Emphasising team chemistry and collaboration, we cultivate a friendly and dynamic work environment.

    The Working Student Commercial Planning &Inventory supports our commercial teams to deliver best-in-class client promotional materials. You will create overviews for pricing, exclusivity, and partner deliverables to deliver business growth, and profitability, and enhance our customer retention.

    The Working Student Commercial Planning & Inventory reports to our Lead Inventory and is a part of our Global Commercial team. Our working environment supports a fully remote setup with the position officially being based out of Germany (headquarters = Cologne).

    What you'll do:

  • Orchestrate local & support global brand partnership requests in terms of pricing and packaging
  • Support and help manage the commercial inventory for all EFG products
  • Review client pitches in terms of pricing, exclusivity & partner deliverables
  • Deduct relevant commercial inventory KPIs and communicate them to affected stakeholders to assist them in strategic decisions
  • Be the connection between different departments to ensure proper communication and promote knowledge-sharing
  • Partner with sales, product, marketing, and other departments to create exciting brand opportunities around our ESL properties.
  • Develop, improve, and communicate commercial processes with international ESL offices
  • Maintain and develop commercial operations library
  • Perform other duties within the Commercial Operations unit as required (. Research or Salesforce)

    • Hypothetical breakdown of the role and responsibilities:

    * 65% Orchestrate local & support global brand partnership requests in terms of pricing and packaging:

    Review client pitches in terms of pricing, exclusivity & partner deliverables

    Deduct relevant commercial inventory KPI's and communicate them to affected stakeholders to assist them in strategic decisions

    Maintain and develop commercial operations library

    * 20 % Partner with sales, product, marketing, and other departments to create exciting brand opportunities around our EFG properties.

    Be the connection between different departments to ensure proper communication and promote knowledge-sharing

    * 15 % Support and help manage the commercial inventory for all EFG products

    Develop, improve, and communicate commercial processes with international EFG offices

    Perform other duties within the Commercial Operations unit as required (. Research, Salesforce)

    Requirements

  • Enrolled in University studying Sports Management, Economics, Media, Marketing, Communications, or another related field (preferably graduating in 1 to 2 years from now)
  • Strong Knowledge and experience in working with MS Office and G Suite products
  • Understanding of competitive gaming and esports landscape
  • Ability to organize multi-stakeholder pitches, processes, and projects effectively in your own way
  • Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced work environment
  • Growth mindset, bold mentality and Give a S#1T attitude
  • Proactive attitude, adaptive nature & flexible working style
  • Knowledge of the sponsorship ecosystem in esports, traditional sports, or entertainment is nice to have
  • First experience in Marketing, Sales, Commercial Operations, Product Management, Business Development or another related field in the sports, gaming, or entertainment industries (internship shall be sufficient) is a plus
  • Fluent in English, another language like German, Spanish or French is a plus
