    Your mission

    As a Quantum Algorithm Engineer in our Development team, you will play a key role in advancing our quantum computing capabilities, particularly in the realm of machine learning applications. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicists, computer scientists, and engineers, with the aim to improve our quantum algorithm performance.

    • Building Python modules based on machine learning to enhance quantum algorithms
    • Contributing to the development and implementation of new quantum computing algorithms
    • Benchmarking of quantum algorithms, based on simulations and hardware implementations
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including quantum physicists, hardware engineers, and software developers
    • Developing and filing IP and invention disclosures
    • Stay current with advancements in quantum computing and integrate new technologies into the software architecture

    Your profile

    • Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Applied Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, Computer Science or comparable qualifications
    • Industrial experience in machine learning, ideally in a deep-tech or startup environment
    • Basic understanding of quantum computing and its applications is a plus
    • High degree of independence and a collaborative and creative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
    • True startup mindset; hands-on, driven, resilient. As we are a young venture, we all must wear different hats and contribute to different aspects of the business
    • Excellent command of English is necessary and German is a big plus
