    As we continue to grow, we are excited to add a Commercial Business Analyst to our global team. Position based in Frankfurt (hybrid work).

    As the Commercial Business Analyst, you will serve as a vital link between a company's commercial strategy and its operational execution.

    Their primary responsibility is to analyze various aspects of the company's commercial activities to drive growth, improve profitability, and enhance overall performance.

    Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do:

    Financial Analysis:
    Variance Analysis: Examine differences between planned and actual financial results to identify deviations and understand their underlying causes

    Trend Analysis:
    Evaluate historical financial data to identify patterns, trends, and potential future developments that may impact business performance

    Financial Modeling:
    Develop and utilize financial models to forecast future performance, assess the impact of various scenarios, and aid in strategic decision-making

    Budgeting and Forecasting Support:

    Gathering Financial Data:
    Collect relevant financial data from various sources to facilitate the budgeting and forecasting process

    Preparing Budget Templates:
    Develop standardized templates to streamline the budgeting process and ensure consistency across departments

    Supporting Model Development:
    Assist in building and refining budget and forecast models, incorporating inputs and assumptions from different business units

    Reporting and Dashboard Development:

    Generating Financial Reports:
    Create regular reports summarizing financial performance, highlighting key metrics, and providing actionable insights

    Developing Dashboards:
    Design interactive dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide stakeholders with real-time access to critical financial information

    Maintaining Reporting Templates:
    Update and refine reporting templates to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with evolving business needs

    Data Management and Analysis:

    Ensuring Data Integrity:
    Implement robust data governance processes and controls to maintain the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial data

    Ad-hoc Data Analysis:
    Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to address specific business inquiries, identify emerging trends, and support decision-making at all levels of the organization

    Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
    Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across finance, accounting, operations, and other departments to gather data, understand business drivers, and align financial strategies with organizational goals

    Communicating Financial Insights:
    Translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for senior management and key stakeholders

    Presentations and Meetings:
    Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and participate in meetings to communicate financial findings, solicit feedback, and drive consensus on strategic initiatives

    YOUR PROFILE:
    Fluent German and English Bachelor's Degree: Possess a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field to demonstrate foundational knowledge and expertise

    Experience:
    Have 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or related roles, preferably within a corporate finance or FP&A function, to demonstrate proficiency and familiarity with industry best practices

    Analytical Skills:
    Exhibit strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights to support informed decision-making

    Technical Proficiency:

    Demonstrate proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and possibly other specialized software to effectively analyze and communicate financial information.
