The German Cancer Research Center is the largest biomedical research institution in Germany. With more than 3,000 employees, we operate an extensive scientific program in the field of cancer research.


Requirements:


  • University degree in medicine or M.Sc. in life science or computational sciences
  • Preferentially postdoctoral experience (up to six years)
  • Publication record that highlights the vision for future experimental and computational immunooncological projects
  • Strong motivation to acquire competitive national and international thirdparty funding
  • Team leadership skills
  • Intrinsic interest in establishing local and DKTK/DKFZwide collaborations
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English, German skills are beneficial

Contract period:


  • The position is limited to 5 year. An extension beyond the 5year period is not possible.
  • The position does not include a tenure option.
  • The position can in principle be parttime.
