Lafayette Mittelstand Capital ist ein auf Turnaround und Umbruchsituationen spezialisiertes Private-Equity Haus mit Sitz in Frankfurt. Den Schwerpunkt der Investments bilden Mehrheitsbeteiligungen an mittelständischen Unternehmen im deutschsprachigen Raum mit Umsätzen von € 25 bis € 250 Mio.
Im Bestreben, Firmen bei der Realisierung ihrer Entwicklungs- und Wachstumspotentiale zu unterstützen, suchen wir stetig nach operativen Verbesserungsmaßnahmen und strategischen Entwicklungspotentialen. Ziel ist es, mittels Bereitstellung von Kapital, Übernahme von Weiterentwicklungsprojekten und engem Gedankenaustausch mit dem Management die wirtschaftliche Leistungskraft und Wachstumsziele der Firmen, an welchen sich Lafayette beteiligt, nachhaltig zu steigern.
Aufgaben
Während Ihres Praktikums bei einem Lafayette Portfoliounternehmen lernen Sie das
spannende Umfeld von mittelständischen und Private Equity geführten Unternehmen in Sondersituationen kennen und können in diesem Rahmen u.a.
· eigenständig potenzielle Unternehmenszukäufe analysieren
· bei der Due Diligence und dem Erwerb von neuen Beteiligungen unterstützen
· bei dem Konzipieren und Optimieren von unternehmensinternen Prozessen unterstützen
· die strategische Entwicklung des Portfoliounternehmen mitgestalten
Das Praktikum wird in direkter Zusammenarbeit mit der Geschäftsführung des Lafayette Portfoliounternehmens und dem verantwortlichen Manager von Lafayette absolviert. Während dieser Zeit besteht eine permanente Unterstützung von allen Seiten und die Möglichkeit sich weiter zu entwickeln und damit all Facetten des Investierens in den Mittelstand kennenzulernen.
Qualifikation
· Fortgeschrittenes Studium (mind. 4. Semester) vorzugsweise in einem wirtschafts- oder ingenieurwissenschaftlichen Studiengang
· Top analytische Fähigkeiten und einen sehr guten Umgang mit dem MS Office Paket
· Sehr gute Rechnungswesen / Controlling Kenntnisse in Verbindung mit Bewertung /
M&A Wissen
· Erste praktische Erfahrungen im Rahmen von Praktika/ Werkstudententätigkeiten in
verwandten Gebieten (Turnaround, Consulting, Technology oder Corporate Finance)
· Überdurchschnittliche Motivation, ausgeprägte Teamfähigkeit, Hands-on
Mentalität und Eigeninitiative
· Die Fähigkeit, strukturiert zu arbeiten und zielorientiert zu handeln
· Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
