    About the position

    The Team Lead IT Systems at Unicepta is an IT professional who manages a team of system administrators and application operation specialists for the Unicepta group. The IT team leader sets goals for the IT department and works with upper management and clients to deliver internal and external application excellence. This individual communicates and coordinates with team members to design, program, and deliver applications and related technologies to clients, customers, and staff. The IT team leader also oversees the testing, delivery, and troubleshooting of IT applications, as well as the secure web and cloud deployment and operation of Unicepta production systems.

    The responsibilities of the IT team lead at Unicepta comprise the following areas:

    • Definition of IT work processes and their complete documentation,
    • Planning and coordination of test runs and IT developments in the company,
    • Ensuring the security of all IT systems,
    • Planning and implementation of new IT projects and applications,
    • Maintaining and servicing existing IT systems,
    • Optimizing the company's internal hardware and software,
    • Creating and ensuring of automated workflows.

    The position of the Team Lead IT reports directly to the group CTO.

    Your profile

    • You are assertive, a team player and have an entrepreneurial mindset as well as a pronounced hands-on mentality with a high willingness to lend a helping hand in support
    • You have a successfully completed IT degree or a comparable degree with a focus on computer science
    • You have already gained experience as a team leader
    • You have several years of professional experience in the administration of complex IT environments
    • You have a strong team orientation and communication skills
    • You have experience in IT project management and project control
    • You are familiar with the Microsoft product landscape as well as the technical IT infrastructure
    • You are a fan of automation and have a desire to implement reliable workflows in IT tasks wherever possible
    • You have dealt with IT security topics from various perspectives. From hardening the IT hardware equipment and systems landscape; from proper intrusion detection and prevention to application security
    • Experience with ISO 27001 requirements and certification

    Nice to have

    • Familiar with modern cloud concepts such as containers, Kubernetes, and serverless computing preferably GCP
    • Experience with data-intensive systems in cloud environments
