KG Organization Transformation of Industry Business Unit Portfolio & Business Strategy Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day You work on making Transformation of Industry, one of the four Business Areas of Siemens Energy, future proof and resilient through sustainability activities. You work closely with the four Independently Managed Businesses (IMBs) of Transformation of Industry and act both as a knowledge hub and an excellent project manager. You work on integrating sustainability into business processes and leveraging it as strategic business opportunity. You focus on overcoming the "reporting fatigue" and deriving strategic purpose and value-add for the businesses from sustainability regulation. How You'll Make an Impact
  • Actively contribute to the successful but efficient implementation of the Sustainability Program for Transformation of Industries
  • Independently drive projects and initiatives to foster the decarbonization of Transformation of Industry and implement sustainability requirements
  • Create value-add from sustainability requirements by designing effective steering mechanisms and working on overcoming business trade-offs
  • Derive strategic business implications from sustainability requirements for Siemens Energy and communicate it across the organization
  • Communicate on your responsibilities and achievements with the top management of Transformation of Industry
  • Collaboratively work with other Business Areas and Corporate functions to support a coherent implementation of the Sustainability Strategy of Siemens Energy
  • Support ad-hoc requests related to sustainability and decarbonization
  • Build a strong expert network inside and outside of Siemens Energy
    • What You Bring
  • Excellent university degree in business administration, engineering, natural science or public policy (Master, MBA, PhD)
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in relevant roles, e. g. strategy projects in the energy industry, consulting, policy-related roles
  • Deep understanding of ESG policies and standards (in the EU and internationally) as well as energy market trends based on previous roles
  • Understanding of ESG trends in the financial markets as well as Technical knowledge of energy technologies is an advantage but not a precondition
  • A team player character as well as a Passion for driving the energy transformation
  • Executive presence, ability to prepare and moderate meetings with senior management
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to find compromises in multi-stakeholder decision-making processes and analytical thinking skills
  • Self-driven and result-oriented, strong ability to structure complex processes; Excellent proficiency in English
