Praxissemester Machine Learning für Time-Series Analytics
(Sommersemester 2024)
Aufgabenbeschreibung
In Ihrem Praxissemester bekommen Sie die Chance, sich intensiv mit den Technologien und Methoden des Machine Learning zu beschäftigen. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf Anwendungsfällen rund um Zeitreihen (z. B. Klassifikation, Anomalieerkennung oder Forecasting). Dazu erforschen Sie State-of-the-Art-Methoden und entwickeln entsprechende Trainingsalgorithmen, die Sie in die bestehende Codebasis integrieren. Sie lernen den Umgang mit einem modernen, Kubernetes-basierten Experiment-Management-System (Polyaxon), das Sie bei der Entwicklung und Optimierung von Modellen unterstützt. Anschließend binden Sie die Modelle unter Einsatz von MLOps-Methoden an eine moderne Web-App an. Technologisch setzen Sie dabei auf Python und populäre Bibliotheken wie Sklearn, Sktime oder Pytorch.
Sie haben außerdem die Möglichkeit, zusätzliche Erfahrungen in den angrenzenden Bereichen der Full-Stack-Web-Entwicklung und der Infrastrukturentwicklung zu sammeln, sofern dies Ihrem Interessensgebiet entspricht.
