    We are seeking for

    We are looking for a part-time (gn*) financial manager to join the Research Funding Management Team and valuably contribute to our diverse and international research projects with great impact. The position is advertised as a permanent position and on a part-time basis (50%-70% FTE). The Research Funding Management team is the central contact point for national, European and international funding programs, and assists faculty and researchers in identifying, applying to, and managing research funding.

    Your Responsibilities

  • Support KLU Faculty and the Research Funding Management Team in the budget planning and financial monitoring of third-party funded projects.
  • Preparation of interim and final financial reports for funding programs, like the EU, German federal government, DFG and DAAD.
  • Project controlling and documentation with Datev.
  • Responsible for the projects' cost centers, and related reporting and corrections.
  • Support in preparing information and key figures for internal reporting.

    • Your qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a comparable commercial training.
  • Experience in the administration of third-party funding, as well as with working in higher education, or a comparable environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of German and English
  • Knowledge of MS Office and financial accounting software.
  • Good analytical skills, independent working style, and an eye for process optimization.
  • Open-minded, team player with a service mentality.

    Wir suchen eine(n) Finanzmanager(in) in Teilzeit (gn*), der/die das Research Funding Management Team unterstützt und einen wertvollen Beitrag zu unseren vielfältigen und internationalen Forschungsprojekten mit großer Wirkung leistet. Die Stelle ist als unbefristete Stelle auf Teilzeitbasis (50%-70% VZÄ) ausgeschrieben. Das Research Funding Management Team ist die zentrale Anlaufstelle für nationale, europäische und internationale Förderprogramme und unterstützt Dozenten und Forscher bei der Identifizierung, Beantragung und Verwaltung von Forschungsmitteln.

    Ihre Aufgaben

  • Unterstützung der KLU-Fakultät und des Research Funding Management Teams bei der Budgetplanung und finanziellen Überwachung von Drittmittelprojekten.
  • Erstellung von Zwischen- und Endberichten für Förderprogramme, wie EU, Bund, DFG und DAAD.
  • Projektcontrolling und Dokumentation mit Datev.
  • Verantwortlich für die Kostenstellen der Projekte und die damit verbundenen Berichte und Korrekturen.
  • Unterstützung bei der Aufbereitung von Informationen und Kennzahlen für das interne Berichtswesen.

    • Ihre Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor-Abschluss in Betriebswirtschaftslehre, Finanzen oder einer vergleichbaren kaufmännischen Ausbildung.
  • Erfahrung in der Verwaltung von Drittmitteln sowie in der Arbeit im Hochschulbereich oder in einem vergleichbaren Umfeld.
  • Fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse der deutschen und englischen Sprache.
  • Kenntnisse in MS Office und Finanzbuchhaltungssoftware.
  • Gute analytische Fähigkeiten, selbständige Arbeitsweise und ein Auge für Prozessoptimierung.
  • Aufgeschlossenheit, Teamfähigkeit und Dienstleistungsmentalität.
