- A university degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering sciences or related fields
- Several years significant practical work experience most likely in instrumentation and control business
- Basic project management skills and experience in dealing with a customer
- Passion for project work combined with an ability to develop positive relationships and win trust
- Strong presentation skills and willingness towards new and exciting challenges, countries, and cultures
- Exceptional leadership skills for guiding an intercultural team on various locations
- Fluent in speaking and writing both German and English, to work in a multi-cultural environment and be flexible and mobile during the program What You Can Expect Over the rotational course of 18 months, you'll get hands-on experience, be actively integrated into the day-to-day activities of your team and gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy Grid Technology. You'll rapidly build in-depth knowledge, discover solutions, and experience our business first-hand. From day one, you will work on important projects with three individually designed assignments, including one six-month international assignment You'll be paired with a dedicated mentor who will guide you through immersive experiences, allowing you to shadow various roles and positions. This support system is designed to empower you to achieve your unique career goals while fostering significant connections with peers and influential business leaders. Additionally, you'll gain access to a wealth of resources geared towards cultivating your professional growth. As a Project Manager for HVDC C&P at Siemens Energy, you will be an integral part of our decarbonization mission by ensuring that your teams complete all projects on time and within budget. Additionally, you will join our Project Management team, helping with the implementation of exciting and complex international C&P HVDC solution projects. Your work will cover the entire range of areas within our teams' daily business. We convert customer inquiries from the planning phase including design engineering, supply chain & testing in our test lab as well as to the final handover of the EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) HVDC projects.
