- Searching for an experienced Technical Buyer
- €60,000 - €70,000 depending on experience + Benefits Package
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers across Europe, the USA and Asia to ensure favourable pricing and service agreements.
- Purchasing and procurement of mechanical, electrical, plastics and metal components
- Regularly evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery speed.
- Create and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies that arise.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production and sales demands while minimizing carrying costs.
- Manage inventory control measures to track stock levels, reorder points, and inventory turnover.
- Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues or delays proactively.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and logistics activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, such as production and sales to align purchasing and logistics activities with organisational objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field would be favourable
- Proven 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or buying roles, preferably in a technical manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (SAP Business One) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy and quality in all work.
