    As a licensed financial company with principal membership with card schemes, we specialize in global payments and providing businesses with multi-currency accounts. With offices located in Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Limassol, and London, we are currently undergoing significant expansion and are looking for a Product Manager to join our team. This role can be in one of our offices in Frankfurt, Limassol, Amsterdam, or London, it can also be remote anywhere in Europe.

    This role is about:

    As the Product Manager for Alternative Payment Methods, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the deployment and ongoing support of our various APM options. This position entails a comprehensive understanding of the marketplace and our clients' specific payment needs, allowing for strategic identification and prioritization of key projects. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer of payabl., you will play a pivotal role in driving the evolution of our APM offerings to meet the demands of our dynamic industry. Your duties will span across collaborating with teams in business development, marketing, sales, and engineering to integrate new APMs into our system seamlessly. You'll be the driving force behind creating and disseminating product documentation, continuously refining existing payment solutions, and conducting comprehensive market research to evaluate performance and profitability.

    You will:

    • Lead a cross-functional team to set clear business goals and deliver results in alignment with expectations.
    • Manage the lifecycle of APMs, from discovery and onboarding to technical integration and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with APM providers.
    • Ensure end-to-end payments experience excellence, providing technical support for internal teams and monitoring changes from the side of payment methods.
    • Communicate your vision, roadmap, and progress updates to teams and stakeholders regularly.
    • Develop, optimize, and document business processes, supporting sales and marketing with materials before the launch of new products.
    • Identify, report, and address delivery risks and issues effectively.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest compliance updates and communicate this information internally and to merchants as needed.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to establish goals, track relevant metrics, and make informed decisions regarding scope changes, new directions, and optimizations.

    What we need:

    • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in product management in e-commerce within financial services.
    • Previous experience working with APMs in the European Economic Area (EEA) and globally.
    • Proficiency in various product delivery methodologies such as Agile or Kanban.
    • Experience leading discovery and writing/maintaining business and functional product requirements.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, manage multiple business initiatives, and inspire and motivate your team.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams internally and externally.
