- Beheben von Störungen im Zusammenhang mit Server- und Datacenterhardware und -software
- Durchführung allgemeiner Wartungsaufgaben an Servern
- Einrichtung und Wartung von VMware Fault Tolerance
- Installation, Konfiguration und Aktualisierung von Servern
- Überwachung der Leistung von Servern, Rechenzentren und Backups
- Überwachung der Speicherkapazität von Servern
- Verhandlungen mit Lieferanten sowie die Beschaffung von Hardware, Software und Lizenzen für IT-Server/Rechenzentren
- Einhaltung von IT-Standards, -Prozessen und -Richtlinien sowie Vorschläge zur Verbesserung dieser
- Mitarbeit in einem internationalen Team
- Berufserfahrung als Server Engineer (m/w/d) oder Data Center Engineer (m/w/d)
- Hochschulabschluss im IT Umfeld oder gleichwertige Berufserfahrung
- Sehr gute Sprachkenntnisse in Englisch und Deutsch
- Kenntnisse in ITIL Service Management sowie Erfahrung mit VMware Virtualisierung und Veeam Backup
- PowerShell Skripting Erfahrung
- Kenntnisse von Windows Server in allen Versionen, Microsoft Active Directory, Server-Hardware, Installation, Wartung und Fehlerbehebung
- Erweiterte Kenntnisse über HPE-Server und verschiedene Speicherlösungen auf Unternehmensebene
- Erfahrung mit MS SQL und VMware Fault Tolerance und Speichersynchronisierung
- Reisebereitschaft bis zu 10%
