- Automation of complex bench measurements using LabVIEW & TestStand
- Independent execution and documentation of measurements for the validation of Buck/Boost Converters
- Evaluation and visualization of the acquired measurement data
- Design and layout of test boards using Altium Designer
- Support of product development in cooperation with other functional groups such as design, test engineering and systems engineering
- Student of Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Information Technology, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, or similar
- Good communication skills in English or German (written and spoken) are a must
- First experience with measuring equipment (e.g. DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters)
- Interest in analog circuit technology and its measurement methods
- First experience with LabVIEW, Spotfire, Matlab, and MS-Office is advantageous
- Basic programming knowledge is an advantage
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment with other technical departments
- Good Communication skills in German is an advantage

About the Job
As a 'Validation Engineer' Intern you will be part of the development of Buck/Boost Converters. You will support the validation by measurements in a lab/bench environment to ensure best in class performance of our products for our customers. This also includes ensuring device robustness under extreme conditions. You will be directly involved in the validation of our newly developed next generation prototypes.

"As Intern in validation I participated in the development of new DCDC-Buck-Converter. I took measurements automatically as well as by hand and so my internship experience was really varied. Getting to know the tasks and duties of an engineer definitely helped me deciding on my future profession. My colleagues are nice and helpful and I benefited from their experience and knowledge. The team, as well as TI is multicultural so I got the chance of getting to know people from all around the world. I also meet other students and interns that gave me the chance to share my thoughts and impressions with folks in the same situation."
