- Project lead for EU distribution strategy incl. the responsibility for the continuous development and optimisation of the European distribution process
- Driving the global strategy for the distribution process & SQDC implementation for Europe
- Manage milestone tracking and execution of the project with all project team members and key stakeholders.
- Operational ownership for the project in the execution phase
- Support the RFP and selection process for external logistics service providers (3PL)
- Key involvement in deciding on the concept and level of automation for future distribution centres
- Ensure operational excellence in the distribution centers incl. KPI management.
- Optimization of Outbound Logistics and Transportation costs
- Education: Successfully completed studies in the field of business administration or industrial engineering with a focus on logistics or a comparable degreeProfessional
- Experience: Minimum10 years' experience in the field of distribution logistics
- Skills: Excellent knowledge of project management methods and processes Experience in managing and optimization of a transportation network an added advantage Extensive experience in the implementation and/or change of 3PL & 4PL (advantageous) SAP WM / EWM experience advantageous
- Language skills: Fluent English, German language skills as an advantage
- Personality: Excellent communication skills in a cross-business and cross-functional global environment, including coordination and leadership skills A strong results orientation with a can-do attitude to drive the business forward quickly Ability to work under pressure and flexibility A high willingness to travel
