- Design and implementation of hardware-related software components and hardware for visual as well as infrared camera systems
- Analysis of requirements and clarification of interfaces to other systems
- Preparation of specifications for in-house processing or the commissioning of external development offices
- Responsibility in projects over the software and hardware components to be developed
- Integration of the components and ensuring their function in the overall system
- Support of software development up to application maturity
- Support of production during start of series production
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science or comparable
- Several years of software development experience with modeling in UML and object-oriented programming in embedded systems (C++ 17)
- Experience in the implementation of development projects
- Practical experience with digital and analog circuit technology
- Knowledge of safety-related standards such as DO-178, DO-254, IEC 61508 or ISO26262 advantageous

Summary
For the area "Smart Sensors" we are looking for an "Embedded Software Developer for Camera Systems (f/m/d)" at the location Oberkochen as soon as possible.The "Smart Sensors" division develops imaging sensors, active sensors and warning sensors. These sensors are sensitive in the visual to infrared spectral range and are used for reconnaissance and target acquisition in civil and military applications.
The "Sensor Electronics and Hardware" team is responsible for the electronics and software of these sensors. Other teams in the area are responsible for technical management, optical and mechanical design, and the corresponding sensor measurement technology.
