- Assume a pivotal role in all facets of client interactions and business development
- Identify and present our services to prospective clients
- Assess, cultivate, and manage sales opportunities throughout the sales pipeline, from initial contact to contract negotiation
- Offer account management to ensure exceptional customer experience and heightened engagement for clients in DACH and Central Europe
- Contribute to the enhancement of existing offerings and the development of new products
- Furthermore, create new marketing materials as required
- When applicable and based on interest/ability, support the research and publications team in shaping our long-term market outlook and analysis
- Lastly, utilize Salesforce CRM to ensure adherence to standard processes across all sales stages
- Prior experience in sales, business development, and client relationship management, especially in energy-related subscription sales
- Additionally, exceptional organizational skills, coupled with a high degree of persistence and diligence
- Evidence of strong performance in team-oriented environments
- Furthermore, genuine curiosity about energy and sustainability
- Native or professional-level proficiency in German and English
- In addition, familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems
- Past professional exposure to energy economics, power and renewables markets, and flexible energy/battery energy storage projects would be advantageous
- Lastly, strong analytical and quantitative skills and a background in economics/policy would be an asset
