    About the Position

    We are currently looking for a diligent and proactive individual to join our team as a Service Engineer at our company. As a Service Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing support to our customers, ensuring the smooth installation and maintenance of systems.

    Your Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide commissioning and start-up support at customer sites.
    • Support system installation, upgrades, and on-site maintenance of DeltaV systems.
    • Analyze, document, and resolve technical customer requests and inquiries.
    • Facilitate training sessions for customer engineers or operators on-site.
    • Elevate issues to specialists in the EMR Support Centre for further investigation and resolution.
    • Collaborate with the sales and service team leader to promote service contracts and renewals.
    • Engage in the Emerson On-call service.

    Who We Are Looking For:

    We seek an individual who demonstrates strong personal dedication and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. A team player who can thrive in challenging situations and collaborate effectively with others. Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure are key.

    Requirements for the Role:

    • Completed technical studies in an engineering discipline.
    • Possession of a valid driving license and willingness to travel.
    • Prior experience in an Engineering or Service role in sectors like Food & Beverages, LifeScience, or Chemical industries.
    • Proficiency in German and English communication (written, spoken, and comprehension).

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Background in the Process Automation Industry, familiarity with DCS (preferring DeltaV), PLCs, Control strategies and technologies, Automation commissioning and start-up, and working knowledge of modern software tools.
