    Across is a young, small startup based in Berlin, founded in late 2022 by Elad Leschem, a serial entrepreneur. The company operates as a corporate venture under Wellcome Leap, a global not-for-profit organization that invests in disruptive health research.

    Across addresses the growing problem of ineffective and inefficient public health communication around the world. The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the crucial role of public health messaging in the success of health interventions and the introduction of health innovations. Overall, public health communication worldwide performed poorly, contributing to high infection and mortality rates, and increased costs.

    Across' mission is to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of public health communication worldwide. We help those involved in public health communications to succeed in their work. Our success would help decrease illness, save lives, and reduce healthcare costs globally.

    Our product is a B2B talent marketplace that connects US health organizations with exceptional creative and marketing freelancers and agencies to deliver effective health communications.

    We are seeking an Allstar Account Executive and Relationship Architect, who is exceptionally talented and ambitious and has significant experience in the US market. The successful candidate will help drive our go-to-market strategy and growth in the US.

    About the role

    Our Business Development team has a unique mission to help customers understand the impact that using a dedicated service marketplace can bring to their work and their audience. This role is a mixture of sales, partnerships, marketing, vision, and commercial strategy.

    You'll be a key driver of opportunities through the entire sales cycle, from pipeline generation to closure. You'll represent Hirespace as a thought leader in public health communications in the US, and partner with the product manager, product designer, marketing manager, and CEO to help customers significantly improve their health communications and science communications by hiring better talent. Hirespace (launching soon) is working on building initial traction in the US. We're looking for a tenured Account Executive to join our team and continue to bring both new customers onto the product and expand existing ones.

    The company is based in Berlin. If you live in Berlin and want to apply for a full-time position, we use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week. If you do not live in Berlin, you can apply for a fully remote position under a freelance contract.

    In this role, you'll:

    • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure, including negotiations and contract signing
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our client base and increasing revenue
    • Build and execute complex customer evaluations, demos, and pilots
    • Forecast your pipeline and targets on a weekly basis
    • Closely monitor the industry landscape (people, competitors, partners, etc.) to contribute to the product roadmap and other corporate strategies
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a diverse client portfolio, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
    • Provide insightful feedback from clients to the product and marketing teams to help shape present and future offerings
    • Regularly meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to our overall business strategy
    • Help the marketing team develop and execute a go-to-market strategy aimed at driving sales, adoption, and usage of our B2B talent marketplace in the US market
    • Support the recruitment and onboarding of other teammates
    • Support the development of company culture

    We're seeking someone with the following:

    • An American living in Berlin or another part of Europe (CET up to +-2 hours from CET)
    • Experienced in selling B2B SaaS or Enterprise Software in the health sector
    • Experience working in a product-led growth company
    • Achieving revenue targets for more than 3 years
    • Designing and executing deal strategies
    • Supporting the growth of fast-growing, high-performance companies
    • Reporting on customer success activities
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative
    • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with other functions
    • Looking to own and lead your area of responsibility
    • Self-learner

    What we offer:

    • A Berlin salary range if you are applying for a permanent, full-time, hybrid position. If you are applying for a freelance remote, the salary will depend on location and experience.
