    The Hertie School in Berlin prepares

    exceptional students for leadership positions in government, business, and civil society. The school offers master's programmes, executive education and doctoral programmes, distinguished by interdisciplinary and practice-oriented teaching, as well as outstanding research. Its extensive international network positions it as an ambassador of good governance, characterised by public debate and engagement. The school was founded in 2003 by the Hertie Foundation, which remains its major funder. The Hertie School is accredited by the state and the German Science Council.

    We are looking for a

    Student Assistant - PhD Programmes (gn)

    part-time (10 hours/week), to start in June 2024.

    Your tasks:

  • General support in the administration of our four doctoral programmes
  • Support the recruitment, interview and selection process
  • Assist with web updates, collecting of information and preparation of reports and data
  • Drafting, preparing, and updating various documents and overviews
  • Support in the organisation and evaluation of PhD trainings and other activities
  • General office tasks

    • Your profile:

  • Enrolled student at a German university
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PPT)
  • Experience with social media (LinkedIn) is of advantage
  • Friendly, reliable, organised, and open to improvements and change
