    German Private Equity Fund specialized in Climateand Sustainability

    The Company

    Our client is a young, dynamic and very successful German private equityfund with a focus on Climate solution and Sustainability projects. For theirportfolio management team, they are interested to hire Operations Directors (m/f/d)who should either support the CEO in the portfolio firm during the transformationor take on an executive management role in the portfolio company themselves.This can be as a "CEO Buy & Build".

    Your Tasks

    • Pre-transaction:Participation in the deal process and due diligence, especially on operational,strategic and management matters including development of robust improvement/restructuringconcepts and business cases
    • Post-transaction:taking on an executive management position in a specific portfolio company eitheras a wing-man to support the CEO or in an interim executive management positionon their own
    • Short-term career perspectives: to become a CEO of a future portfoliocompany

    What You Bring With You

    • 6-12years of professional experience from a top tier strategy consulting firm andadditional operational experience with P&L responsibility, line managementor as General Manager
    • Ideallymid-market (German 'Mittelstand') exposure or at least "mind-set"
    • Outstandingacademic credentials and steady & consistent career progression
    • Willingnessto travel and work on-site at the portfolio companies
    • Highlyambitious and motivated
    • Hands-on,'get-things-done' type of person
